观海台位于宝盖山山腰，建于2010年，在此可眺望深沪湾、梅林港海域。广场花坛中央矗立的小石塔与山顶的万寿塔遥相呼应。颂廉台前书卷造型的花岗岩篆刻着一篇《颂廉台记》，四周的围栏上镶嵌着16幅古代名人廉政故事影雕，线条明晰，惟妙惟肖，警醒人们要每日三省吾身，清正廉洁，择其善者而从之。

SEA WATCHING PLATFORM

Built in 2010, the Sea Watching Platform is located at the hillside of Baogai mountain. People can overlook the Shehu Bay and Meilin Port from here. The little stone tower, standing in the center of the flower bed, works in concert with the Wangshou Pagoda on the top of the mountain. The granite stone in front of the Song Lian platform is engraved with the article “On Song Lian Platform”. The fence around it is inlaid with 16 shadow carvings with clear lines and lifelike images, telling stories about ancient celebrities who enjoyed good reputation because of honesty and integrity. This sculpture is set to warn public servants and the masses to keep honest and fair.
